As a tour guide for many years
I have had the pleasure of guiding visitors to England's many popular places
of interest, both in our major cities which are steeped in history and folklore,
and in the beautifully varied rural countryside.
Many of my clients have become personal friends and routinely come back for
other tours. See what my clients have said
Here is a little more background
on what you can expect from me.......
The
Blue Badge
- your assurance
 |
Blue Badge Guides undertake
a selection interview which is followed by a detailed and comprehensive
training course. We are then examined through written papers and rigorous
practical exams - all of which have to be passed before registration.
All blue badge guides nationally have the same background of national
core knowledge and in-depth local knowledge.
The Blue Badge is internationally
recognised and respected by discriminating tour operators because of this
knowledge, their ability to select and present material accurately and
interestingly, their punctuality and reliability. Constant updating of
knowledge, the wide range of languages, specialities and interests enable
them to guide in cars, on foot, coaches, trains and boats when welcoming
individuals or groups to Britain's unique and varied heritage.

Bespoke
Tours
Whilst there are regular popular tours many clients have specific interests
and wish for a personalised itinerary.

 |
As
my client, if there is anything special you want included, all you've got to
do is just ask.
I cater for all and have significant experience
for those
less able.

| For clients with
disabilities and those, in particular, that are confined to a wheelchair I

Airport
Stop-Overs
Instead of spending hours between
flights at the airport, you could see something of London or the countryside.
Allowing two hours for the tedious business of customs and check in later; a
six hour layover would mean a 4 hour visit to London, Windsor Castle, Hampton
Court Palace, a stately country house or a beautiful English Garden.
Costs
Prices for any of
the tours are upon request.
Payment must be by cheque, or Banker’s draft in Sterling or US Dollars
and upon booking a 25% deposit.
Please Note
All prices quoted are for freelance Driver-Guiding engagements. Fees charged
by individual members are likely to vary according to the specification, capital
outlay, maintenance and running cost of their vehicles. Charges are calculated
as starting and finishing in central London.
